How do neuromodulators work?
Botulinum toxin type A temporarily interrupts the signal between a nerve and a targeted muscle, allowing that muscle to relax.
How long can BOTOX Cosmetic results last?
For BOTOX Cosmetic specifically, the manufacturer reports effects lasting up to 4 months for moderate to severe forehead, frown and crow’s-feet lines at approved doses. Results gradually diminish and vary by person. This timing does not apply automatically to every neuromodulator or treatment area.
